I had been counting down to the 5th of July, because it was your night, it was the night for Kepler concert. You may not know, but I have been a fan since your debut in 2000. I know all your songs from the very first album, and my KTV list is always monopolized by your tracks.

Every concert of yours just keeps getting better. And your performance last night was exceptionally brilliant. Your vocals have matured so much over the years, your techniques are second to none, your emotions in every lyric delivers the most touching stories; even your breathing in between phrases was such a charm. Despite being down with flu, you were not failed by your sore throat and you sang like a Queen; you shone like a star.

And you are really Singapore’s pride.

Thank you for the wonderful repertoire. It was so much fun singing along with you, and recalling the different stages of my life with every song – all of which I had a track or two to resonate with. 我尚好的青春都在你的歌里
