Viva L’Italia // Venezia
Venice is the most beautiful, most enchanting, and most romantic place on Earth, and it has always been a lifelong dream to live and breathe Venice with the one I love. There is this inexplicable charm that The Floating City exudes, and a certain magic that lingers. Somewhat mysterious, somewhat mystical; everything is a hundred times prettier, and miraculously filled with love.
Returning to Venice after 7 years was a dream come true. My previous family trip only allowed a few hours, and it was too much of a touch-and-go trip to even experience anything. But this time, I had B with me. I really couldn't ask for more, and the 2 days there with him marks a peak in our relationship - a memory so precious, it will be etched in my heart forever and always.
We stayed by the Grand Canal, and nothing beats having him cuddle me to sleep and waking up to his kisses. It was a love so right, a love that I would pay for with the world. We rose to a beautiful Friday, and spent the day wandering in the piece of heaven.

We took pains to locate popular restaurants that B researched about,
indulged in a couple of heartening Italian meals,
and shared gelato everyday.
Every turn we took, we stumbled upon Venice's one-of-a-kind allure,
brought back little pieces of enchantment,
and marveled at little whatnots infused with love.
Completely enraptured in your beauty;
Venice will always hold a special place in our hearts. A life so changed; Love has touched us in The Floating City, and we will never be the same again.
I left a part of me in Venice.
Thank you for being such an amazement, thank you for giving me this memory. There is nowhere else in the world quite like you, and there is nothing in the world quite like being at Venice with the man I love so dearly.
