So I am such a happy soul. Our semi-work trip saw us checking-in to the most talked about W Retreat & Spa at Seminyak Bali, and boy, was it a life-changing experience! I never thought W would have such impact - the irresistible charm, the X-factor that no other hotels can replicate, the impeccable service, the fine restaurants and bars, the sexy rooms... even the sounds of crashing waves was like a world-class symphony.

I could get used to respites at resorts like this. Casual and laid-back, yet lush and sexy. Everyday, I just wake up to paint my face and curl my hair, and dress up to look pretty. Haha.

On my first morning here at W, to complement W's charisma, I did a little gold and quilts. It was a simple yet cannot-go-wrong combination that I threw over my bikini.

The slightly sheer top makes it the perfect resort piece - throw over your brightest bikini, I would suggest. Don't you love the additional touch of glam from the gold mesh? I love mesh anything! And if you are shy to laze by the pool with your entire legs exposed, this pair of bright-colored quilted shorts should do the trick. I cannot believe how this pair costs less than S$25 for its superb material!
