It was yet another lazy afternoon. Lately, we have been visited by the rain so often, and that day was no exception. The splatter of rain on the windows was that of melodic like a percussion symphony; every rhythm relaxes the mind. And an afternoon like this calls for some cosy-up with cakes and latte.

We spent the hours keeping warm in a cafe, talked about rainbows and the possible pot of gold, and got lost in the aroma of the coffee beans. Weekdays like that are precious all the same, and something that I had taken for granted when I was younger. That is the irony of life - when we were young, we could not wait to grow old and do "adult things" like work; when age catches up on us, we give up bits and pieces just to slow down and turn back to catch a glimpse of the path we have taken.

So we forgot our stress and hubbubs from our daily rat race, and went back in time to a vintage dimension - of whims, of fancies, of innocence, of coyness. Nothing quite like lace and pastels for a touch of youth, for that youth that we miss and yearn for, for that youth to indulge in a little daydreaming of carefree times.

Speaking of this lace romper, you can tell that I like it so much, right? It was so comfortable and easy to wear, and the side pockets are the perfect touch for a romper. The ombre lace is too delicious, and I would have gotten both the pink and blue if my wardrobe isn't already bursting.
