So I didn't have to wait too long before my second dosage of sweet treats from Dessert Kitchen. This time round, the gorgeous owner sent over her newly launched Chocolate Cake Balls, a chocolate cake, and their bestselling cupcakes in 3 popular flavors.How do I even begin? Everything was so awesome and I swear their baked goodies are so very addictive. My family rejoiced upon knowing we were in for another treat that weekend, and Dad was, as usual, the first to pig out on the cupcakes. We had the classic Red Velvet which I had spoke about previously, the Lemon Cheesecake for those who love a touch of citrus goodness, and Chocolate Addiction for all you chocolate lovers out there. I loved the chocolate one so much, and B and I agreed that it is easily one of the best chocolate cupcakes that is rich yet not disgustingly sweet. 2 was certainly not enough for all the gluttons I have at home.

But we had a similar rendition - the whole cake covered in luscious swirls of buttercream that is too pretty, it is almost illegal. I know, I know. How sinful is the buttercream, right? As much as I love butter-anything, I was more obsessed with every bite into the moist cake. Similar to the cupcake, the chocolate was rich, yet not overpowering, and people who do not fancy sugar too much will be glad to know that this is actually a decent option to turn to for a little comfort.

And the limelight has to be on the Chocolate Cake Balls - new on the menu! This is an ideal quick fix if you need some sugar for the soul. A box of 10 includes a mixture of chocolate and red velvet flavored cake balls, all finished with a coat of fresh chocolate and a sprinkle of glam. And what do you know? These elegant babies tasted as good, if not better than it looked. And as I am typing this now, B and I are actually sinking our teeth into them. Yes, a box of 10 is not enough.

That said, I almost died and went to desserts heaven.
