I have never understood paintings, but Van Gogh is an inspiration and my favorite phrase of his reads, "I dream of painting and then I paint my dream." His world-class exhibition at Amsterdam is also one of the best that I have seen, and arts of such nature really opens up the mind and gives you the courage to attempt the unfamiliar.

I cannot paint, but deciphering the story behind every brush stroke is an intriguing activity all the same, and I ought to indulge in such an art - one way or another. Which is random, because this blouse in a paint-like print caught my eyes for its fascinating colors. And it enraptured me into a world of happy thoughts - just the kind of positivity we all need in life.
