I have waited soooo long before I could share this outfit with you all. Bree sent them over some time ago and I went gaga over the sweet pastels and pretty florals! I can never say enough how much The Closet Lover is a gem of Singapore's blog shops and I really really really love their collections! Every time Bree sends me a parcel, it puts a smile on my face because the clothes just keep getting better. And they are one of the rare few blog shops that I still buy from on top of the few sponsored pieces they send over.

So anyway, will you just take a look at the pants? I am all for floral pants anytime, and this piece spoke to my heart right away with its rich pastel blue and contrasting pinks and greens. The color combination is somewhat whimsical, and it makes me feel like Barbie strutting downtown in stilettos. I love the skinny fit and how it lengthens my legs, and I can already think of a hundred other tops to match with this pants. Even on days when I do not have any inspiration for mix-and-match, this pants would go so well with just a basic tube top or jumper.

Now, the top. I wanted all 4 colors! This is such a sweet and flattering piece, and I love everything about it - the thin strap and cold shoulder, the soft flutter sleeves, the lightweight chiffon that is perfect for Singapore, and the cropped length. I am becoming a bit obsessed with cropped pieces lately, though B claims they are too revealing. But much to my pleasant surprise, he actually complimented this top and egged me on when I said I wanted the other colors.

I guess it helps that it looks dainty and sweet, like it came straight out from Vivi. Which, you might have noticed from my title, that I am such a fanatic for Japanese everything. So, complete with pink lips and curls, we pranced around this quaint little backyard that B discovered. Now, bring out that sashimi and sake please.
