Lately, people have been telling me I have lost weight. That shouldn't be, because in the past 2 months, I traveled across the globe and stuffed myself silly with lots of European food, and when I was at Seoul, I ate 4 meals a day and my supper was full Korean meal at 2am. Funny enough, my weighing scale reflected a dip in numbers too.

I shall suppose this is all good, and it surely gave me the confidence to put on a relatively body-hugging piece like this slit maxi. When Pearlavish first approached me, I was feeling a mix of excitement and shock. This is one label that I have known since my poly days, and I always remember them offering an eclectic mix of chic, dainty and corporate-friendly apparels at very pocket-friendly prices.

It did not take me long before I decided on this understated piece. I like how the high slit puts my legs in the spotlight, and because it is just a mono-color number, I could dress it up with accessories to showcase my personality. For the ladies with smaller frames like me, cinch it with a belt to add some definition and you are good to go.
