Travelogue: Go Mod // Bali

Remember the checkered dress I featured some time last month? It was surely a hot favorite and I know a couple of you had wanted to get your hands on it but quantity was really limited. Coincidentally, my second feature for Jasmoda is also a monochrome piece, this time in a classy paneled shift dress.
I wore this to a tasting session with B at Bali, and it was such an easy piece to pull off. As you can see, there was almost no accessorizing rest for a pair of chandelier earrings. The panels give a slimming effect, and the subtle A-line cut is ideal for people with relatively heavy bottoms like me. I could not believe how skinny I looked that afternoon.
And there is always something delicious about black dresses with white details. Apart from feeling like you are wearing Chanel, there is no better color combination (art students will tell me black and white are not colors but I don't really care because to me, they are. :P), and nothing is as stark as white is on black.
Jasmoda never disappoints, indeed. And as I am writing this now, I am also surfing their site for more statement pieces. I spy neon striped dresses, daisy printed knit tops, houndstooth peplums, leather skater skirts...
Oh, wait. I think they just sent me a crochet flowers dress. I am so looking forward to sharing it! Soon!
