Viva Forever

My job takes me to the nicest places for meetings and events, and though life is never a bed of roses and we all take tumbles and have our difficulties, I choose to believe there is always something to smile about. Every day may not be good, but there is surely something good in every day; so right, so true.
It was a quiet Monday with my Love, and we chanced upon this tranquil scene and we fell in love. It was like being out of Singapore, peaceful and slow-paced - just like how we like our lives to be. Sometimes, I think we do not belong to Singapore. This is our home and we grew up here with everyone and everything that we love, but there are times when we find ourselves too breathless from running in the rat race - not by choice but only necessary for survival. Which have us appreciating little pleasures in life albeit in the simplest forms.
Paradoxically, life in monochrome is clandestine and every way my kind of fantasy. The eyes should learn to listen before they look, and when everything is colorless, you feel, you understand, and you appreciate details better. Like photographs when taken in black and white, you capture the soul.
These days, I speak to the world with my takes on life's monochromes. And with my said mentality, I celebrate today's installation with my present from Faire Belle - a Parisian chic striped dress with mesh details and a back cut-out. Nothing a statement dress cannot answer! On a minute note, this is definitely a piece everyone should own because it transcends seasons and trends. If you want some spice, a red option is also available. We can always do with some excitement.
And the title says it all - my love for monochrome is like Viva Forever, everlasting like the sun.
