My best friend, my soulmate, my lover

There were countless times when I wondered,

What if I never met you...?

My life would be drastically and unimaginably different to say the least.

For our incidental acquaintance many years ago was one of the greatest impacts in my life,

to a life so beautiful with you.

You are always there for me, to remind me that no matter where I go and what I do, I am not alone;

you share my joy, and catch me when I falter;

you show me worlds I never knew, and always inspire me to be a better person.

And when I am with you, you set my heart aflutter and enrapture me with a love so great.
I am lucky to be loved by you, I am lucky to be in love with my best friend.

I love how you cuddle me, and plant kisses on my forehead;

I love how you take my hand in yours, and hold me wherever you go;

I love how you pamper me with the smallest things, and dote on me;

I love how you look into my eyes so intently, and tell me how much you love me;

I love being loved by you.

I love how helpless you look when I bully you, and you give in to me all the same;

I love how you nag at me, and hug me after to remind me that you love me;

I love how you always let me whine and rant, and help me find solutions to all my problems;
I love being taken care of by you.

No one else understands me better than you do, no one else feels me better than you do;

every sensitivity and every thought that you dedicate is so precious;

for all the things that you have done for me, for all the things that you will do for me, only I know.

Because there will never be another like you, I don't want to miss a thing;

because no one else can give me happiness like you do, I want to always be lost in your world;

because only you know the way to my heart, I want to stay close to you no matter what;

because, I love you so.
