Travelogue: JSBM // Seoul
I have been in Seoul for the past week, and it was a holiday that I had been counting down to for the past 2 months. Twinnie Sheila has always loved Seoul (she claims she is a Korean, like how I claim myself to be a Japanese), and because B spends so much time watching Running Man and all the other Korean shows, we thought nothing is a better idea than bringing our double dates to a higher level and taking a holiday together at the well-loved city!
As I am typing this, Twinnie is already back in Singapore while B and I still have 3 days here. We are "Seoul-loving" every bit of this holiday, because there is just so much to explore and discover - much more than we had expected, actually. My first time to Seoul was a family holiday in 2007, and this place has sure evolved so much since then. Apart from revisiting the shopping districts (Etude House, shut up and take my money!) and pigging out on lots of meat, the highlight of my trip thus far has to be seeing cherry blossoms for the first time in my life.
It had been a lifelong wish to see those pretty flowers in full bloom. We didn't think we would be so lucky, and B only found out 2 days before our flight that this is the week where the trees would all blossom in the brightest shades. Completely unexpected, but it sure is a priceless surprise for me. The first time I stepped into the park behind the royal palace, I halted, and was supremely in awe of the picturesque sight right before me.

'Beautiful' is an understatement and words failed me;
I was beyond grateful to be standing right there at that part of the world, witnessing one of the prettiest face of Mother Nature.
