I am hardly "corporate-looking", not even when I have important meetings or events. To me, looking office-appropriate never meant boring shirts with pencil skirts. Or some say the "property agent look".

Even if you work in a stern industry where image is everything, dressing up does not confine to only straight cut button shirts and plain black skirts. With endless options in the market, with the availability of all kinds of fabrics, with the creative minds of designers, fashion is made fun for occasions of all sorts.

Today's feature saw me opting for a corporate ensemble that, least expectedly, I really adore and felt comfortable in. Nothing too typical nor boring looking, but nothing too over the top. That was my second time wearing Bridge, an in-house label by Fash Mob, a locally-founded e-commerce site. From blazers to shift dresses to pants, Fash Mob dishes out yummy apparels of quality materials and friendly price tags, with the spotlight on Bridge for its exceptional designs; so tres chic and irresistible.

Just like this pair of chinos that I chose - what is there to not love about the paperbag waist details and the tapered cut that gives such a slimming silhouette? The lush material also made me feel like I am putting Zara on my skin.

So I did not want to steal away too much attention to the checkered piece, and kept the ensemble understated with black everything else, alongside some gold and silver accessories. This is what confidence in the office is made up of.
