Be A Unicorn

So I get people telling me I can only do short skirts and heels, and I have people saying I dress slutty to get attention. Don't get me started, because they are all too ridiculously hilarious, but what do you know? I can always pull on a black-on-black and lace up my boots for that less-than-predictable weekend ensemble. And this is also when my trusty Balenciaga comes out to play.
Last Saturday saw me spotting a bling-ed up unicorn tee from one of my all-time favorite advertisers, The White Carousel. They are my go-to blogshop for edgy pieces, and if you need a bit of rock chic fix, you can always count on them for options like silver tennis-styled skirts and black slit maxis. The White Carousel is also one with the friendliest price tags, on top of dedicated customer care.
That evening at the posh hotel, I got quite a bit of stares from almost everyone who walked past me. I don't know if those stares were that of condescending, or simply because they did not understand what they were seeing because everyone else was in pretty frocks at the hotel lobby. But, I was most comfortable in my ensemble and I really just wanted to wear what I am.
"Always be yourself. Unless you can be a unicorn. Then always be a unicorn."
