So I was telling you I have been so crazily swamped lately that I hardly spend quality time with my loved ones. The rate at which I am ticking off days on the calendar is scary to say the least, and how is it possible that we are already into Q4 of the year and planning for Christmas? Well, work woes. People in the industry would understand.

But last week, I had a day off, and it was an enjoyable day spent with my girlfriends whom I've missed dearly though we talk almost everyday. Spent the afternoon with Sheila and Liz, and wherever (and whenever) we are seated down comfortably, we would chat like there's no tomorrow. It is always so heartwarming to hear about each other's life changes, and to be engaged in deep conversations about adult topics like wedding planning, housing issues, business ventures etc. We have all grown up. :')

The rest of the day was then spent with the Wong sisters, and these two bubbly girls always cloth me in so many of their pretty clothes! Put three vain girls together and you get an album of photos. This affinity that I share with them is unbelievable, but everyday, I give thanks for girlfriends who have my best interests at heart, who always believe in me, and who always encourage me to be a better person.

No matter how busy you are, no matter where you go and what you do, always return to where you belong and spend time with your loved ones, for they are the ones who would keep you grounded; for they are the ones who would share your happiness and successes, and wipe your tears when you cry.
