When I was younger, my mom used to scold me for wearing only black. Open my wardrobe and all you would see is a sea of black clothes. And the styles of my clothes were pretty limited. Don't ask me why, but I changed - most thankfully. I may not be the prettiest girl around, and my features may not be the most outstanding, but I love playing with styles and creating looks that I feel comfortable in for the camera. It is like I have found the missing life line, and it really touches me to know that girls look to me for fashion advice.

Apart from the fact that I am still missing Japan so much (you can tell from the number of travelogues, right?), today is another preachy day, because I want to remind everyone that we are all entitled to vanity; we deserve to be beautiful. People will criticize, people will hate, but dress up anyway because you should be beautiful for yourself. Deck your days with fashion, experiment styles and always reinvent yourself, and walk with confidence; we must wear confidence alongside our best ensembles.

Coco Chanel says, "Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman." One of my all-time favorite quotes, and a subtle reminder every time I have qualms about slightly loud elements. A perfect continuation for this quote would be, "Do not waste a day wearing ugly clothes. Make people remember you for every outfit, every day."
