Travelogue: Chimes // HongKong

There are some places that I've been to and I'd leave without taking a single photo. And then there are some places that I've set foot on and cannot leave without bringing some form of memories back with me. Rooftop pools and pools overlooking a gorgeous city skyline are amongst the few that always leave great impressions, and it is the kind that have me lingering around a little longer than I really should - even if it meant braving a little cold in the autumn wind, in a summer frock.
A few days back, we put up at InterContinental Hongkong, and it has since top my list for the best hotels in Hongkong. The spectacular view of the Victoria Harbour is one, and then there is the outdoor pool that overlooks the surrounding Tsim Sha Tsui too.
It was an unusual call time for a swim, but we had to get out of bed for a little frolicking by the pool. Chilly or not, the pool was the answer.
And, is there really a season for florals? Not in my world, at least. Anytime is a good time for florals, especially so when I had packed along such a pretty frock for my holiday. The prints are so vibrant, they speak for themselves and grabs all the attention on the streets. The bustier cut flatters less well-endowed girls like me, making me feel shapelier and more confident to strut around before I change into my bikini. And if you are looking to put more use to this dress? No problem, throw on a white blazer and you're good for the office.
Thank you, My Glamour Place, for sending this piece over. All girls need a floral dress like this indeed!
