So you know that I am into hot pink lately. I never used to, because I had this irrational fear that anything in hot pink would make me look bimbotic - as if people don't misunderstand me enough. But my opinion has changed since this faithful day I donned a hot pink crochet top, and everyone whom I met that day told me the color complements my relatively fair skin tone. That gave me the much needed confidence for more hot pink pieces.

Then came along this piece of hot pink blazer in my mail one day, and I gushed a little at its bright hue. I am undeniably a girl, and I love my pinks.

I wanted this to be part of my outfit for a Saturday brunch date, but to tone it down lest I look just like me on any other work day, I threw it over a fun printed tank and a casual zipper skirt. It looked so fun altogether, and the Mister really loves me in blazers. Did you also notice the pin-striped sleeves? I love those!

But for the next time I wear this piece, I will fold it down and have it worn with a white dress - just like Barbie.
