I have a thing for peplum pieces - increasingly so. They have been around for some time, and the fever is here to stay for 2013. Coveted for their flattering cuts, peplum pieces instantly add a touch of femininity, and you really don't need to do anything more to stand out. And oh, it conceals unsightly bulges and post-feasting tummies as well!

The peplum can come in many forms - tube tops, long-sleeved tops, shift dresses, playsuits etc. There are just so many ways to alternate your looks, and for one, you will never look boring.

Tonight, I attended Blackberry Z10's launch party with B, and because I came from work, I had no time in between to change. This raspberry peplum tube dress was the first that came to my mind. With its elegant cut and a subtly sexy sweetheart bustier, it was meetings-appropriate, and its bright hue was a fool-proof choice to take me from work to play. Minimal accessories required; fuss-free and still presentable.

Every lady should own a peplum dress like that.
