Mothers' Day this year was made special with freshly baked goodies from Dessert Kitchen. The kind owner rang my bell just before lunch, and personally delivered a dozen of cupcakes and a loaf in my favorite flavors.

Dessert Kitchen is a home-based bakery, helmed by a baker with 10 years of quality experience and specializing in cupcakes and loaves. With sheer passion for delivering tantalizing sweets to all dessert-lovers, their menu is a comprehensive one that is sure to tug your heartstrings and leave you spoilt for choice.

For my dozen of cupcakes, I chose a mixture of Red Velvet Cream Cheese, Orange Cranberry, Strawberry Cheesecake and Salted Caramel Mocha. Believe me when I said I took so long to finally decide on only four - their list of flavors is mind-boggling!

My favorite was the Orange Cranberry, also their best seller. Mom and the Mister liked the Red Velvet Cream Cheese. Their cupcakes are moist and not overly sweet - just the way we like it. And the frosting was so generous, it made me so happy licking them off with every bite of the cupcake. Hehh!

And the loaf made a hearty breakfast choice. Heat it up a little, add a dollop of their homemade cream cheese, and enjoy it with a cup of rosebud tea. Your morning cannot get any better.

I am already looking forward to my next dosage of Dessert Kitchen's sweets. :)
