Have you ever stopped and realized that if you hadn't met a certain person in your life, how completely different would your life be?

Everyday, I find something to be grateful for; everyday, I take a moment or two to breathe in all the good things I am blessed with. We all ought to stop, ponder and appreciate the people and things in our lives, because for all you know, suddenly, life will have a new meaning with just a twist of fate. Coincidentally, as I am penning these words now, Billy Ocean's "Suddenly" is looping on my iTunes, and the words spoke right to my heart. For some reason, it jolted me awake and engraved a less-than-gentle reminder to me - to constantly remember everything and everyone that bring beauty to my world.

I am a sentimental Cancer, and while people may find me eccentric for always "preaching" and "quoting", I will not change a thing because life marks a greater meaning when I am grateful, appreciative, thoughtful (figuratively), romantic and, well, sentimental.

As the month draws to a close, I want to take a moment in time to relish everyday, everything and everyone. Like the wise ones would always say, "Let the love in your heart be the light that guides you through your darkest moments."
