Snow White Queen

Today's installation is a style that I have not thought about since I left SPH. What was otherwise a norm for me when I had to report for work at an office became an option for an afternoon tea session. I am never a fan of corporate styles. Thank God the industry I am in does not call for a boring wardrobe, but I had an inspiration to put together a feminine and safe ensemble one afternoon.
So a few days ago, what came in the mail was this cream-colored blouson and I wore it out the very next day for a tea session. Manufactured by the sweet lady behind HerJetSet, this blouson features a cowl neck and tulip sleeves. I love its soft chiffon-like material! If this was for work, I would opt for a tailored pants. But while my intention was to keep the ensemble simple, I personalized it with colors for more definition. Bring on the red lipstick, of course.
Looking so ladylike is never my thing, and it took me some getting used to. But one thing that I could really get used to, is having B in my pictures. This man is so elusive that he almost hates the camera (irony), and getting him to take a picture has since become a quest that I take pride in.
