Denim, oh denim. What a versatile textile, what an evergreen one. There can never be enough variations, and I own many denim pieces in my wardrobe too!

Today's installation is a sweet surprise from Faire Belle, or should I say, Sweet Lorraine. I did not think much of it when the lovely owner sent it to me, but putting the piece on is a different story. And I thought I would show you how you can showcase your different sides with just one piece.

It was another afternoon at The Mulia when I was prepping for a day out in the sun with B. There were many Japanese and Indonesian guests at the property, and maxi dresses seemed to be an ubiquitous choice for resort fashion. So I stared at my pile of clothes (yes, many of you asked and I really do not travel light) and put together something out of the norm. It was not difficult, just 5 minutes or less was all I need and I was good to go.

Throw it over your favorite bikini - preferably one in complementing colors - and a simple pair of shorts. I used the same crochet shorts, but to complete the look with a touch of fun, I tied up the ends of the shirt and added some touches of blue on my wrist and finger. Now, don't you think the top is beyond your Sunday brunch and movie date? It works as a beach cover-up, too!
