Spring’s Serenade

People always ask me what my favorite color is, and I will always answer black and red - though black is not strictly not recognized as a color in the professional world of Art.
And then, there are times when I adore bright hues. Bright anything. Colors are so much fun and I wish all the ladies out there would be more adventurous in exploring and dolling up. Do not be afraid to put on a yellow blazer, or an orange pair of heels. They may seem abnormal on first thought - but that is only because Singapore has been rather conservative. Walk on the streets of Milan and Paris and you will be nothing but tres chic.
Yesterday, I embraced my love for spring colors and put together this ensemble that I really love. Clean cuts that are simple and minimalistic, yet shine in the most outstanding ways through the mixture of colors - an ensemble that is both good for work and play. If you are still reserved about the loud colors, do a white blazer, or a black bag. They would work just as well.
And I cannot say enough just how much I love my yellow blazer that I got from Milan. I folded the sleeves up for a more casual touch, and Zara always has the best inner lining that makes folding up so achievable.
Now, fly me back to Italy so that I can bag another pile of clothes from Zara without feeling overly guilty. 20% does make a significant difference, I'd say.
