White Night Fantasy
I used to avoid white dresses like plague, because I never found one that would not make me look pudgy. But B loves white to death, and he had been on a perpetual quest to get me to don a white dress. Wherever we shopped, he would always look out for them. The only time I "acceded to his request" was when we were at Venice and I wore this white tube dress that had his eyes glued to me all day long. And his admiration gave me the confidence to trust white pieces on a whole new level.
One day when I was at Sheila's office, as usual, browsing through her rack of upcoming stocks, I chanced upon this cut-out midi. I fell in love instantly. That very weekend, I wore it to Mom's birthday lunch.
Of flowy chiffon and peek-a-boo cut-outs, this midi dress is made up of everything pretty. And the best part? I actually looked slimmer than usual! The man was very proud to "show me off" that day.
