I Am My Hair

I have been complaining about my horrendous hair color and texture ever since my peacock hair dye started to fade. Every single day, I whine about how my hair looked like a patch of grass; every single day, I countdown to a makeover.
Officially and very proudly sponsored by Shunji Matsuo, I bade farewell to ugly hair and am set for a date with my appointed Master Stylist, Eddie. I was done with my grass, placed my faith in Eddie, and trusted him when told me he would grant my tresses a rebirth. For the love of colors and everything loud, I had asked for a fiery shade of red, but much to my disappointment, Eddie said my current hair texture didn't allow for such a strong color. He assured me nonetheless that with patience and more visits to him, he will restore the condition of my hair so that we could explore crazier styles in future.
Meanwhile, he worked his magic and after 4 hours in the salon, I opened my eyes to gorgeous and healthily shiny tresses.
Behold:
I LOVE SHUNJI MATSUO. And for the fact that it is a Japanese salon, the fresh change that was tailored to my preferences made me feel like a doll. B stared at me non-stop and repeatedly called me his doll. Hehh! I really couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Eddie covered my base with an elegant shade of dark brown, and did a faint ombre of rich plum hues. The color even glistened under the sun!
And I went back within a week of the hair dye to get a treatment done. Eddie told me to be patient to sit through the hour-long session because the Sherpa treatment is beneficial to restore the shine, strengthen my split ends, absorb my colors better and to close all the cuticles.

I swear I would not grumble the next time round, because the end result was so totally worth it. And I swear I will be more diligent to go back for treatments regularly. I feel like punching myself for the many times in the past that I colored my hair without any after-care. If you subject your hair to chemical treatments very often like I do, this is a must because it keeps the condition of your hair controlled and healthy.
A big thank-you to Eddie for making me feel confident and pretty all over again! I am so in love with my hair that I promise to take extra care of them!
