After several sessions to my hair sponsor, Shunji Matsuo, I am finally red-headed.  And I am so in love.

When I first consulted my appointed hair stylist, Eddie, my hair was a complete mess and they were at its driest. I had already wanted to cover them with a coat of red, but Eddie told me to be patient and let him restore the moisture in my damaged hair first before I attempt that fierce color. Months of treatment and cutting away terrible split ends, my last visit to the Japanese salon saw me ready for a crazy makeover.

I was beyond excited to say the least.

Eddie chose two shades of red and had them evenly mixed because the bottom part of my hair was bleached before, and it called for a different coat to produce an even blend and to make the overall look like only one shade. So talented, Eddie. I haven't seen my hair with such a brilliant shine in so long!

As I have always advocated the importance of taking another hour off your schedule to sitting in the salon for post-dyeing treatment, I indulged in a session of Sherpa treatment - to moisturize and strengthen my hair that have been subjected to too much chemicals.

The results? Silky smooth red tresses that calls for a hundred photos. I feel like a mermaid now.
