I had the honor to attend the closing show of FIDé Fashion Weeks 2013, and it was none other than the highly anticipated Julien Fournie x Love, Bonito show - one that was nothing short of phenomenal. It was a star-studded event, and everyone was dressed to the nines just for that magical night. The collection was exciting and impressive, and it will be one to look out for, surely.

For some reason, I felt horribly plain and underdressed - until everyone told me how much they love my jumpsuit. I guess my hair helped too. I made a trip to Shunji Matsuo @ 313 for Eddie to style my tresses, and he said he wanted nothing but elegant Japanese curls for my outfit, and voila! A touch of femininity to complement my wide-legged and bareback jumpsuit. By the way, I got this jumpsuit for a steal (though still a very hefty price tag by my standard) - it was originally priced at S$498 but I snagged it at a sale when it went on a 50% discount.

So anyway, it was a happy night because I finally met my hatchday sister, Bree, after one long month of not seeing her! Being at different parts of the world and spending some weeks traveling with our partners, the only connection we had was Whatsapp, so last night was really precious and we just couldn't resist all the photos. Of course, with Bert (affectionately known as BertBert, by Brad) who joined us for dinner too.

And I bumped into Sherlyn before we all went in to the hall for the show, and it got me very excited because I had been longing to meet her! She is one woman with both beauty and brains, one whom I really admire and love. Sherlyn has recently launched her own label, Sadie, and I swear by the quality designs. Ended the night with a shot with the ever gorgeous Kaykay, whose hairdo was so glamorously beautiful that night but a pity my iPhone could not capture it in the photo. She is one brave woman and I love her wits. Though very often misunderstood, she is actually really nice and real.

Missing a photo of B and me, but just as well - he is camera shy and does not like to be featured too often. Haha. Nonetheless, thank you for being my +1 for every event and occasion, for always taking the best outfit photos for me, and for staying up with me while I draft this post. Love you!
