I used to avoid eyelash extensions at all costs, because the past few times I did, they itched so bad and gave me really red and swollen eyelids. And the application of eyeshadow was quite a bitch, as with the removal process. But recently, Milly told me to give it another shot at her parlor (where I am sponsored for my nails, too) because she brought in a new batch of fur lashes and a much better glue. Of course, I hesitated but went for it anyway - and am so loving it.

They are light as feather that I do not even feel bothered by them stuck on my lids 24/7, and because they are single strand lashes, you can customize your extensions to your desired thickness and length. I chose to have mine black and voluminous but relatively short, and the end result is a gorgeous intensity that widened my eyes. And nope - no itch, no swells. Washing my face is not all too tough as well, just gotta avoid rubbing the area around the eyes!

And as you can see, they could even withstand a morning swim! With these extensions on, I save so much time on making up. Every morning, all I have to do is to pat on my usual loose powder and blusher, draw my brows and line my waterline, and to highlight + contour. In other words, 5 minutes is all I take to be camera-ready. And, a little secret - some of my recent photos are without makeup, not even drawn browns! That is how much of a saviour eyelash extensions are!

By the way, I always have people telling me I am so skinny. There you have it, my bikini photos - unedited. Zero liquifying. Fat. Nowhere near toned tummy, slim thighs or devil's figure.

On a separate note, I have been so pleased with my nails for the recent months. Making the change and trusting Milly's with all my nail designs is one fabulous decision, and my manicurist, Chloe, never fails to impress! She is one talented woman who is so full of creativity and passion - all I have to do is to tell her what I like, and she'll customize a design just for me. Needless to say, I get showered with lots and lots of praises everywhere I go. That sense of satisfaction when everyone who stops to see my nails tell me how much they love them; I love them too.

Every session at Milly's is a fun one - all the manicurists are so humble and fun to chat with, and they always make me feel so welcomed. And did I mention how efficient the girls are? Chloe always does my nails in under 2hrs, and Gina only takes 30mins for my lashes! In case you are wondering if that would mean slipshot work, it is not, because the girls are very very experienced and well-trained. With that, I love them even more and anticipate each visit.
