It has been a month since our holiday to Japan, and every single day, I tell B about how much I miss that country and how very much I want to go back - real soon. It is indeed one of the best trips we have taken, maybe because I am partial towards that country, but in any case, my withdrawal syndrome is severe.

There are so many more outfits that I put together during our 2 weeks there, and because I have my very patient boyfriend who always always always documents all my styles, I still have a backlog to share. Just as well, I thought. Reminiscing the good times as I sieve through the many folders of photos to pick out my favorite ones to share, and reminding myself to never stop being grateful for having B. He is all the man that I need.

Anyway, this outfit was unplanned. I had initially picked a dress for the day, but the temperature dipped and it was the coldest day we experienced in that 2 weeks. I was lucky to have bought this knitwear when we were at Kyoto, but then again, H&M could have been a saviour too. If you are ever at Tokyo, do not leave without making a trip to any outlet because the selection is definitely wider, and when the forex is in our favor, that's when the joy in shopping is doubled.

Ending this post abruptly with 2 photos from that afternoon's tea session at our favorite patisserie, Sadaharu Aoki. I swear each time I bite into his eclair, I rise to heaven. I am so ashamed to only have known about him when we chanced upon his Taipei outlet earlier this year, but it was life-changing and I never looked back since. When we were at Paris, also earlier this year, we had to hunt his macarons down because there is something just so magical and comforting about biting into Japanese-flavored sweets in the bitter European winter. Genmaicha, Yuzu and Houjicha? Yipe, you've got me there, Monsieur Aoki. And I am wishing upon every star that you would open an outlet here in Singapore.
