Fantasie

Some days ago, B and I went on a short staycation, and we took the chance to do a little shoot for this babydoll dress that I never thought I would adore so much. I never used to fancy nude and earthy shades; inexplicably, they are too raw for my liking - if I even make sense. But lately, I've been on a nude-everything haul. I see myself picking out shades that I would never bother in the past, and I actually like the understated look.
So this dress came along at the right time, when I am in the right mood for it. The baroque embossment in a lovely champagne hue is gorgeous, isn't it? And the lampshade bottom is perfect for pear-shaped girls, concealing the heavy bottom and creating the illusion of lengthier legs.
And because the dress is such a statement itself, I chose to go minimal with the accessories. This is quite a versatile ensemble, for it can worn from day to night, through work and after dark hours.
Now, back to expanding my wardrobe...
