Every blog I read now, every Instagram post and every Facebook status speaks of new year resolutions and thanksgivings. Some I enjoy reading, some I just skip entirely. One of the biggest lessons I have learned in 2013 is to cut out all the negativity in my life - people, thoughts, situations... They are evil to say the least, and it denies all the goodness from flowing in to your life.

All of you know how I practice gratitude every single day of my life. I have always believed that while it is good to conclude a year and make goals for the new year, it is more important to be good every day, all the time. We do not have to wait for the new year to make resolutions, because everyday is a new canvas for us to paint on, and with every second we are given to live and breathe, we are in-charge of our destinies. We can make resolutions everyday to better our lives, and ourselves.

And I just want to say it again that I am truly very, very, very thankful for my lot in life. I may have tons of complaints about my features, I may never be satisfied with my bags and shoes collections, but I am blessed with many more priceless assets, and for that, life is celebratory. Family and friends remain the most precious to me, and these who are the closest to my heart, I want only the best of health, love, joy and happiness for all of you.

2013 is a year with the most drastic changes, and my life became entirely different; a life I never thought I would lead. I'd prefer to have this privacy protected, but I want to let everyone know that you should let nobody destroy your dreams just because they lack vision, and no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

Shine. Shine with all your might and "never let anyone dull your sparkle", Marilyn Monroe said. To welcome the new year, I picked this colorful ensemble because it signifies how life should be - nothing short of colors, nothing short of surprises.

My favorite playsuit by Fash Mob to date, this darling of a number is one of my favorite get-ups yet, and I love how the sweetheart neckline boasts of a hint of playfulness. The vibrant print speaks for itself, but I added touches of reds to make the colors pop even more. For the ones who can't do without your accessories, throw on a sparkly necklace or some silver arm candies. It is all about adding opulence to an outfit, as I always say.

And before I leave you to continue with your New Year parties, I want to thank each and every one who has been ever supportive of me (and my blog and Instagram) for the past year. Your every encouragement gives me strength, and for the new year to come, I want to continue inspiring ladies to dress up, to share my styling tips, and to advocate how beautiful confidence is.

Happy New Year to one and all, and remember - "Gratitude turns what we have into enough."
