The kind of fascination that Japan brings is second to none. Even the briefest moment spent at a heritage site is a priceless experience, one that allows me to catch a glimpse of the past and all its ancient glory.

Every trip to Japan has me discovering and learning and exploring, and strange enough, I find myself reading up on the histories of the different UNESCO heritage sites and whatnot - for the record, I hate history and all that dry stuff. But you see, Japan sure has its magic, and I truly enjoy sitting under a maple tree and Googling for everything about the shrines, temples and castles.

Complete with an ice-cream cone, of course. Here is a series of one of my spring outfits for Japan, also one that is so fuss-free and comfy that I wore to Mie's Ise-Jingu.
