Every other day at Japan (and till now actually), I have people asking me how B and I stay slim when we pig out so much. I had no idea, but when I returned, I weighed myself and was shocked to see that I lost 1kg; I lost 1kg after 2 weeks of eating 5 meals a day, and all meals contained carbs. I guess the walking helped, and when I said 'walking', I really meant walking A LOT. The Japanese love to walk so much that they just had to build so much space, so many slopes and so many flights of stairs from one point to another. We probably clocked 5km a day!

There were some walks we preferred we did not have to do, but there were also walks that we enjoyed. We found ourselves walking to and spending yet another afternoon at our favorite area - Omotesando Hills, There, we satisfied our huge craving for caffeine and exceeded our supposed quota, but who cares? There are too many quaint little coffee joints sporadically spread out across the lanes that we could not explore each and every one. But much to our delight anyway, though the Japanese really take pride in their teas, their coffees aren't anywhere incomparable. I was greatly impressed by every cup of latte that I had, as with B and his Flat Whites. This is one area you would not want to miss, and if you are ever in Tokyo, take the subway to 'Omotesando' station. Or, take the JR line to 'Harajuku', and walk towards Jingu-mae - which will both lead you to Omotesando, and has many uniquely themed concept restaurants and cafes to offer, too. Our favorites include Suzu Cafe, Omotesando Koffee and Streamer Coffee Company. B will be doing several guides on Tokyo, so do look out for them!

The weather was erratic and on our second last day at Tokyo, temperature rose and it was back to summer casuals for me. I couldn't have been happier because this stunning top had been sitting in my luggage and waiting to be worn. When I first caught sight of it on Fash Mob's website, I told Rach to keep a piece for me so that I could bring it with me to Japan. As usual, it took me a while to decide on the color (the pink is equally delicious!), but I settled for this blue because it compliments my mid-toned skin color and makes me look fair - just like the Japanese. Yes, I am just slightly obsessed with being a Japanese though my spoken language is horrible, but when you are in the mother land of dolls, you disregard everything and give it your all to dress up for a day out in the city.

Complete with red lips and a pair of dainty crochet shorts in the sweetest shade of powder pink, this ensemble is easily one of my favorites, also one that got me so many compliments on Instagram. And it helps that I am so in love with Omotesando Hills, because these photos will serve as great memories of the fond times I spent there.
