Some weeks ago, the good people at Crowne Plaza Hotel kindly invited B and me for a weekend staycation, and it couldn't have been more timely to execute this shoot. I was so excited because styling for a swimwear shoot is always so much fun. Apart from the fact that the pool is one of the nicest we have seen and swam at in Singapore, this set of bikini is perfect for the cosmopolitan-styled location.

I love florals, prints and poppy colors, but above them all, black and white will always top my chart and you (almost) cannot go wrong with them. A monochrome bikini? Yes. A Korean-styled high-waisted monochrome bikini? You have me there. So we had a little photoshoot fun with this high-waisted bikini that hid my post-lunch tummy so well, and I completed the look with a floral crown that my dearest Marie gave to me. She is the sweetest darling who never fails to rush down to wherever I am, just to doll me up for the camera.

And of course, thank you, Irisa! This bikini couldn't have been more perfect to conceal my tummy and create the illusion of a svelte figure. Girls, now you know my secret. ;)
